Six weeks in… doesn’t seem like it’s been that many already! I’m much happier with some of these than others, but mood has a lot to do with what I find the time and interest for taking pictures on a particular day. Friday and Saturday were kind of hectic days and I was lazy and just relied on my iPhone and predictably, those are the ones I’m least happy with.
It’s supposed to be rather rainy here this week, so we’ll see what happens. I keep meaning to catch the egrets that have been flocking to the nearby golf course and I even stopped on Friday but didn’t have my camera and I’d forgotten my phone as well on that trip to school. Definitely feeling the urge to do something different. I like the way the flowers come out, but I’m getting bored with them. I should start looking at the list of places I made last fall that I wanted to visit with my camera. Now, just to find the time to do everything. =)

The main reason I agreed to what seemed like insanity was to force myself to get to know the camera I got for my birthday last year better. I want to do more than just rely on the AUTO settings and luck to get nice pictures. All the flowers in my yard make both of those VERY easy to do. =) I need to get off my butt and go explore some places around town!
