Hot Contract Now Available

I haven’t done this before but I can’t keep quiet about this one. Jodi’s book just came out over at The Wild Rose Press and I’ve been waiting for this one. Now, I haven’t finished it yet, so this isn’t a full-fledged review. However, lemme tell ya, I’m lovin’ what I’ve read so far! I’ll be back to rave later this weekend, I’m sure… but for now, check it out for yourself!

Hot Contract

by Jodi Henley

When Jen Stalling, chief geologist on a new magma-based power plant known as the Pele Project witnesses the murder of a fellow scientist, Project officials don’t want the negative publicity of a murder investigation. “An accident,” they say. Jen knows better. So does her father, billionaire Art Stalling. But having pushed Jen away years ago, he can’t now reveal his interest without exposing her to danger. He hires DalCon, a Seattle-based security group to watch over her.

Keegan Dalfrey has his own problems. Four days ago, during a routine mission gone wrong, his brother was captured by South Pacific extremists. They want two million in ten days. Keegan can make that in nine days by neutralizing the threat to Jen. It’s an all or nothing gamble with his brother’s life in the balance. He never expected to fall in love.

Excellent Blog Awards

Kat from Kat’s Krackerbox gave me an Excellent Blog Award today. How very sweet of her. Thank you so much, Kat!

I visit the following blogs at least once a week and some of them even more frequently. They are all writing related and all manage to have unique perspectives on the process. Some are just getting started and some have been at it a while. Some are working alone and others pool their experiences.

They’re all Excellent Reads. I would like to pass this wonderful award to the following 10 blogs (in no particular order):

Gwen Mitchell Midnight Moon Cafe

Dream By The Fire: Winter Magic

I was inspired by the submission call for this anthology soon after I joined the Romance Divas this summer. However, my story didn’t make it past DH’s red pen, but I was so happy to see many familiar names when the acceptances came out. The anthology includes:

Love Rewritten by Esmerelda Bishop
Mistletoe Magic by Lanie Fuller
High Maintenance by Jamie Hill
Letting Go by Ava Rose Johnson
Upon A Midnight Clear by Kelly Madden
Solstice Night by Lyra Marlowe
A Winter’s Gift by Kim Rees
Einmal nach a Modresnach by Emily Ryan-Davis
Sugar Baby by Fiona Shinn

Warm your heart and hearth this winter with nine naughty and nice stories of hope and love.

Available December 3rd at Freya’s Bower

Christmas in Ireland, a kiss beneath the mistletoe, a snowstorm centuries in the past, Mother’s Night in wintry Germany, and the sweet gingerbread aromas of a fine bakery are only a few of the gifts you can give yourself and loved ones this year.

Come visit to find out what other winter treasures await at Freya’s Bower. There are excerpts from each story included at Freya’s Bower — go see for yourself how great some of these stories are!
